Why train on site

One trainer comes to you — your whole team certifies together

Your people learn in the rooms they'd actually respond in, on a day that fits around the way you work.

One price, whole team

A single fixed fee covers up to 12 people — almost always less than booking individual places at a training centre, with no travel and no lost hours.

Trained where it matters

Staff practise in your actual workplace, using scenarios built around your real hazards — not a generic classroom miles away.

Compliant by design

FAIB-accredited courses that meet the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, with certificates handed out on the day.

Stronger as a team

Practising together sharpens communication and confidence, so people respond as a unit when a real incident happens.

Booked around you

Days, evenings, weekends or split shifts — we schedule training to keep your operation running with minimal disruption.

We bring everything

Manikins, defibrillator trainers, projector, materials and certificates all arrive with the trainer. You just supply a suitable room.

Reviews

Rated highly by the people we train

5.0 out of 5Based on verified customer reviews

Booking was straightforward and the trainer came to us, so none of the team lost a day travelling to a course. Everyone was put at ease and we had our certificates the same day — we'll definitely be using them again for our refreshers.

Joanne HendersonOffice Manager · My Heating Engineer

The course was built around the real risks our people face on site, not generic textbook scenarios. The trainer was knowledgeable and genuinely engaging, the whole team passed, and it made keeping our first-aid cover compliant refreshingly easy.

Scott HewittH&S Lead · Actavo

We needed several staff trained across different sites and they made it painless — one fixed price, dates that worked around us, and all the equipment brought along. Professional from the first enquiry through to the certificates.

Good to know

On-site first aid training — frequently asked questions

How much does on-site first aid training cost?
Courses start from £395 +VAT per day for a group of up to 12 — roughly £33 a head. That one fixed price covers the trainer, their travel, all equipment and the certificates, with nothing added later. For getting a whole team qualified, it usually works out far cheaper than sending people to a training centre one at a time.
Do you offer a price match guarantee?
Yes. If you've been quoted less for the same thing, send us the written quote with your enquiry and we'll match it — as long as it's for a comparable course with the same qualification, length and group size.
How many first aiders does my workplace legally need?
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require "adequate and appropriate" cover, based on a needs assessment of your risks, headcount, shifts and site layout. As a rule of thumb the HSE points to an EFAW-trained first aider for lower-risk workplaces of 25+ people, and FAW-trained first aiders for larger or higher-risk sites — plus spare cover for holidays and absence. Not sure? Give us a call and we'll talk it through, free of charge.
How many people can attend one course?
Most courses take up to 12 people per trainer, in line with first aid industry guidance — and CPR and defibrillator courses can take up to 15. Got a bigger team? We can run consecutive days or bring extra trainers.
What do we need to provide on the day?
Just a room big enough for the group with some clear floor space for CPR practice — a meeting room, canteen or training room all work well. The trainer brings everything else: manikins, AED trainers, bandages, a projector and all the course materials.
Can you work around shifts or train outside office hours?
Yes. We regularly run courses in the evenings, at weekends and as split sessions to fit around shift handovers and opening hours. Tell us how your rota works and we'll build the schedule around it.
We have multiple sites — can you handle a UK-wide rollout?
Yes. We deliver right across the UK, so you can book every site through a single point of contact, with the same course content, pricing and certification everywhere. Group and repeat bookings come with a discount too.
How quickly can you deliver the training?
Often within a couple of weeks, depending on trainer availability in your area. Working to a deadline — an audit, a new site or certificates about to expire? Mention it when you enquire and we'll prioritise dates that work.
Do attendees need any previous experience?
No. Every course except the First Aid at Work Requalification is built for complete beginners. Sessions are practical and hands-on rather than exam-style, and our trainers are good at putting nervous delegates at ease.
How long are first aid certificates valid for?
First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work certificates last three years. The HSE strongly recommends a short refresher each year to keep skills current — we run those on site from £395 +VAT.
How do I book?
Call us on 0800 852 7738, email hello@onsitefirstaidtraininguk.co.uk, or send an enquiry with your preferred dates, location and the number of people. We'll confirm availability and tailor the course to your workplace.
