Sports First Aid
First aid for the touchline — recognising and managing the injuries and collapses that happen in sport, from concussion to cardiac arrest. A two-day course delivered at your club or venue.
An in-depth look at the course
Sports First Aid is a two-day course for the touchline — equipping coaches, clubs and sports staff to recognise and manage the injuries and collapses that happen in and around sport. From concussion and sprains to the rare but critical sudden cardiac arrest in a young athlete, it covers the situations a generic first-aid course often skims over.
The course balances classroom understanding with plenty of practical, scenario-based work, delivered at your club, ground or leisure facility. It gives volunteers and staff the confidence to make safe decisions quickly when an injury happens in front of them.

Who should attend
Sports First Aid is for coaches, club officials, leisure-centre staff, PE teachers, fitness instructors and sports volunteers who need confident pitch-side or poolside first aid. It suits clubs across all levels that want a recognised standard of cover at training and matches.
Assessment & certification
Delegates are assessed by practical observation and scenario work across the two days, and successful learners receive a certificate valid for three years. It is a nationally recognised first-aid certificate suitable for most coaching and club requirements; if your national governing body specifies a particular syllabus, let us know and we will confirm the course meets it.
How on-site training works
We bring manikins, AED trainers and consumables to your club or venue; you provide a room or covered space for the practical work. One fixed price covers up to 12 people, and because clubs often rely on volunteers we are happy to run the two days at weekends or across evenings to suit availability.
