Course overview

An in-depth look at the course

Fire Safety Awareness is the essential grounding every member of staff should have: how fires start, how to help prevent them, and exactly what to do if one breaks out. It is commonly delivered at induction and refreshed periodically, and it underpins a workplace's wider fire-safety arrangements.

It can be delivered two ways. Online is the simplest and usually easiest option — a short course each learner completes at their own pace, with a certificate on completion and pricing per learner. Or we can run it as a trainer-led group session at your premises, which works well for getting a whole team or shift through the basics together and tailoring the evacuation guidance to your building.

Who should attend

Fire Safety Awareness is for all employees as part of induction and ongoing fire-safety duties, delivered online or on-site to suit you. It is a simple way to make sure everyone — whatever their role — understands the basics, and it complements the fuller fire marshal course for those with a designated fire-safety role.

Certification

Assessment & certification

Online learners complete a short assessment within the e-learning and receive a certificate on completion. On-site, the trainer confirms understanding during the session and issues certificates to the group. Both routes provide a certificate for your records. This is general awareness rather than a designated fire-safety role — nominated marshals should take the fire marshal course.

Delivery

Online, learners complete the short course on any device whenever it suits — priced per learner with no minimum, ideal for inductions and rolling it out across a workforce. On-site, our trainer delivers the session to a group at your premises and can base the evacuation guidance on your own building. On-site group training starts from £495 +VAT for up to 12 people.

Both. Online is the simplest — a short, self-paced course per learner with a certificate on completion. Or we can deliver a trainer-led group session at your premises.
How much does it cost?
Online is priced per learner with no minimum. On-site group training starts from £495 +VAT for up to 12 people.
Who needs fire safety awareness training?
All staff should have basic fire-safety awareness — it is commonly delivered at induction and refreshed periodically.
Is it certificated?
Yes — both routes provide a certificate on completion for your records.
What is the difference between this and fire marshal training?
This gives all staff general awareness; fire marshal training prepares nominated people for a designated fire-safety and evacuation role.
