Fire Marshal Training
Fire marshal (or fire warden) training that prepares the people responsible for fire safety and safe evacuation in your workplace. Take it online at each learner's own pace, or have us deliver a trainer-led group session at your premises — whichever suits your team.
An in-depth look at the course
Fire Marshal Training (also called fire warden training) prepares the people responsible for fire safety and safe evacuation in your workplace. Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, employers must have enough competent people to help everyone leave safely — fire marshals are how that duty is met in practice.
You can train your marshals two ways. Online is the quickest and usually the easiest option — each learner works through the modules at their own pace and receives a certificate on completion, priced per learner with no minimum. Or we can run a trainer-led session at your premises, which adds the option of practical, hands-on fire-extinguisher training and a walk-through of your own building's evacuation routes.

Who should attend
The course is for designated fire marshals and wardens, and for any business that needs to meet its duties under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 — whether you prefer self-paced online learning or a trainer-led session on site. It suits office managers, facilities and health-and-safety staff, and anyone nominated to take a fire-safety role.
Assessment & certification
Online learners complete an assessment built into the e-learning and receive a certificate on completion. On-site, the trainer confirms understanding during the session and issues certificates to the group. Both routes provide a recognised fire marshal certificate for your training records; the on-site option additionally allows hands-on extinguisher practice where you need it.
Two ways to train: online or on-site
There are two ways to take this course. Online, learners simply log in and work through the modules whenever it suits, on a computer, tablet or phone — priced per learner with no minimum, so you only pay for the people you enrol. On-site, our trainer comes to your premises and delivers the session as a group, with the option to add practical fire-extinguisher use and to base the evacuation guidance on your own building. On-site group training starts from £495 +VAT for up to 12 people.
